From what I can tell Adobe Imageready is more for making animations and roll overs.  So getting thing ready maybe for a game or a website.   The Adobe photoshop appears to be used for flat pictures.  Meaning edit photos or play with a picture yu made say in correll draw.  They both have many features that are the same as well from what I can see.

Mind you I know little about any of this stuff.  IE what is a roll over?   Is this when you pass the courser on a image it changes?

I use ImageReady more purely because it seems to load faster. I find that Photoshop loads as though it is an operating system.

SO it has all the editing capability of photo shop as well then?  If so it sounds like a much better system.  Speed means a lot to me when I am trying to create something.
