Open Question: Whats a good 2 year program to go into?
am getting laid off from my job on December 1st and there is a program through the state of Minnesota and federally that receives grants to put displaced workers through schooling. They pay 100% of the education including books and mileage-so this is an awesome opportunity for me. They will only pay for a 2-year degree through a local community/technical college, and being as I have an 8 month old and live an hour from any tech college, I will have to do all my education online. I went to college my first year out of high school and received 14 credits in generals that will be able to transfer if needed as well.
I am just unsure as to what to pursue.
I live in a very remote location and there aren't too many jobs out in this area so I was looking for something that I could do a number of things with-something that wouldn't force me to do only one specific thing. I was thinking of some options-medical information technology, medical coding, or health care administration. These are just some ideas that have been running through my head.
If someone has any ideas about other possible routes I could look into-or know some information about my choices-it would be greatly appreciated!
